Chrysler Canada: Innovative, Larger-Than-Life Ram Truck Projection Advertisements Hit The Prairies

  • Special ads projected on sides of buildings in Winnipeg, Regina and Saskatoon
  • An initiative from the Prairie Chrysler Dealer Advertising Association
  • Follows up on a similar project from last May in Calgary, Alberta
January 20, 2014 , Windsor, Ontario -  The Prairie Chrysler Dealer Advertising Association is in the midst of an innovative advertising campaign to showcase the award-winning Ram Truck lineup. Four unique, larger-than-life, 3D-effect, 30-second spots are being projected onto the sides of downtown buildings in Winnipeg, Regina and Saskatoon.

This leading-edge approach to showcasing Ram Truck via what have been dubbed “mini movies,” is a first in Chrysler Canada’s loyal and all-important Prairie market. The Alberta DAA ran a similar campaign in 2013 for the Dodge Dart, Ram 1500 and Jeep® Grand Cherokee with terrific feedback from the local community.

“"We are excited to bring this first-in-market opportunity to the Prairie Market,” said Murray Haukuss, President of the Prairie Chrysler Dealer Advertising Association. “The Ram 1500 is Motor Trend Truck of the Year for the second year in a row and we are proud to be able to feature that message in this very unique way. What better way to get our message out there than a giant, 200-foot movie screen!”

Again co-developed with Vancouver-based Flow Media, these exciting Ram ads have already appeared in Winnipeg and are now in Regina (1818 and 2500 Victoria Ave.) until January 28th, before moving to Saskatoon for two weeks. The displays begin daily at 5:00 pm and run until midnight.
